台灣西洋古典、中世紀暨文藝復興學會2024年度第二場讀書會（成功大學場）/ 2024 TACMRS Reading Group 2 @NCKU

台灣古典、中世紀暨文藝復興學會將在2024年5月25日（星期六）以但丁、中古世紀的城市與佛羅倫斯為主軸，於成功大學舉辦本年度第二場讀書會。

本會很榮幸能邀請輔仁大學義大利語文學系的Brian Reynolds 教授來進行導讀，透過但丁的視角一窺中世紀的世俗之城，並探求凡人企及上帝之城的可能。

*本讀書會提供現場參與與線上參與兩種方式，報名成功後寄出研讀資料與提問連結，歡迎與會者預先提出欲討論的相關問題或要點。

*本次讀書會導讀的部分以英語方式進行，討論採雙語方式，提供簡易翻譯服務。提出的討論問題與要點可以中文或英文表達。

We are pleased to announce the second TACMRS reading group (on Dante, medieval cities,  and his Florence) will be held at National Cheng Kung University (Tainan, Taiwan) on May 25, 2024. Those who are interested are very welcome to join us. 

We are privileged to invite Dr. Brian Reynold from the Department of Italian Literature, Fu-jen Catholic University to lead the reading session. Through Dante’s unique worldview, we will explore the medieval urban culture and share mortals’ yearning to reach the city of God.

*This reading session at NCKU welcomes on-site and online participation. Reading materials and a link to an online forum will be furnished following successful registration. Any questions and discussion points related to the topic are welcome.

*The guided reading by Dr. Reynolds will be conducted in English, followed by a discussion in both English and Chinese (Interpretation service is provided). All the questions and discussion points can be expressed in English or Chinese.
